Sometimes I just want to get away. Sometimes I need to be alone. It's been hard since moving to Sendai to have time for myself.
While driving around I took a side street just to see where it went, and I came to a 90 degree corner. I stopped the car and looked around.
To my right there was a fence that said Danger. So naturally I went over and went around the fence.
At least I knew I didn't leave the prefecture.
After going around the fence that said Danger, I saw why the sign and fence was there - there was a cliff into a creek.
So I found another way down and was treated to a relaxing place in the woods by some rapids.
I wish there were fish in that stream though.

Nice.
I need to find a place like that here in Tokyo.
Probably impossible :(
Have a few friends in Japan (Tokyo) but none of them is a blogger, wich is a pity for us in Paris.
I like your rummaging and discovery, always watch behind signs...
I like the last photo I am sure the air there is colder than the city , nice place to go on summer like today.
Oh, I love secluded places in nature like that. How lovely.
1. I feel good about understanding what the sign said just by looking at the picture before reading
2. Even DANGER signs in japan have cute characters on them :P
Oh this looks like a chunk of Paradise! I love it and would love to come there and visit, looks like a great place to get lost in!
Billy: It's not Tokyo, but I went rafting in Gunma a few years back. That might be a little out of the way. Maybe under the JR tracks near Okachimachi station - I used to get out of the sun there.
G@ttoGiallo: Japan is an easy place to do that.
Erika: Yeah, it was nice and cool. And Sendai is cooler than Tokyo!
Emm: I think you'd really like this spot then.
Jamaipanese: This wouldn't be Japan without cuteness.
yanji: I hope I don't get too lost, but I plan on hiking down the stream a little ways.
Wow, way too dangerous there for me, hehe.
As long ass you are ready to get wet, it's not that big of a deal.
