Not having my camera has gotten me into editing my older pictures. One effect i really like is called tilt shifting. It should be done with aerial photography, but who has those?

Edit:
Here is a tutorial on tilt shifting for GIMP, the FREE imagining editor for those who don't have $700 lying around.

'tilt shifting'? So I take it that the focus is somewhat shifted? The photographs do look peculiarly interesting though.

A bit blurry, almost surreal, but we get the picture, job well done.

My hubby has 24 filters for this manoeuvre but it resides in the darkroom since the arrival of digital cams .. must get him to take it out n re-use them again.

Last evening we came upon a huge bunch of fungus under a tree in bright autumn colors. Pix turned out real well. Can u take the 1.5 Megabites ?

Y'day was sunny n now there's a storm raging ! I hate storms !

@ CK: I'm not proficient enough to know what the name means, but it's supposed to look like a toy model.

@ Martin: Thank you.

@ Dutchie: I like storms -- as long as I'm inside!

My DH is a budding fan of GIMP! I will soon try my hands on it :) dropping in here from EC!

Without GIMP I never would have tried imaging. I would recommend it to anyone.

It has a steep learning curve however.
